about me...

I'm a licensed mental health therapist with a passion for talking about all things human behavior, from the inner workings of the human psyche to the socio-cultural structures that shape our lived experience.

I received a bachelor of arts degree in Sociology and English in 2004, and a master of science in Counseling Psychology in 2012.

I’ve worked in the behavioral health space since 2005, primarily in community-based non-profit organizations. I spent many years as a direct service clinician before transitioning into supervisory and managerial roles. From 2005-2013, I worked with low-income adults experiencing barriers to self-sufficiency, including serious mental illness, addiction, domestic violence, and trauma. From 2014-2021, I worked with the elder population navigating aging-related transitions such as retirement, grief and loss, chronic illness, and shifting care responsibilities

I am a certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (2023) and a certified Autism Specialist (2025). I am incessantly curious about things I am interested in. Currently, I am consuming all things related to neurodivergence and expressive arts.

I am originally from suburban Philadelphia, but I have lived in the Seattle area since 2012, and I consider it my home.

I love play, being dramatic, facial expressions, movement, words and questions. I enjoy being outdoors, public speaking (!!), writing, getting messy, trying new foods and travel. I identify as an AuDHD cisgender female, and I am mom to one.

I look forward to getting to know you and your story.
